RANGEMENT DE MOIRÉ

“Often I observed this effect.

On television, on printed products, curtains made of

organza, tights, mesh material, etc.

But this effect was ether intendet neither wanted.

Caused on a coincidence, I was faszinated as a kid.”

Our daily life is dominated by tasks, which we act out and perceive unconsciously. This furniture intervene the routine because of an unexpected effect. As the sideboard is opened, the pattern of corpus and drawer overlap, which generates a continuously changing moiré effect / an interference pattern. The sideboard is made for motivating the user to reflect upon his action, to contractu his expectation, to be astonished and find the little miracle within.
